A notable gathering in Madrid brought together faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The round table included Clarisa Nieva EU Values of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered different experiences and viewpoints on how mutual knowledge can help build more inclusive communities.
Throughout the gathering, participants addressed themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when supported by education and dialogue.
